The filing fee for probate / letters of administration is increasing from $269 to $275 on 1 July 2026.
You can pay the fee now, even if your paperwork isn’t ready to send to the High Court. Then send the receipt to the High Court with your paperwork.
If you pay the $269 fee now and send everything to the High Court after 1 July, the $269 fee is accepted.
I know, it’s only $6 difference, but if it works for you, it’s still $6 saved.

- Probate / letters of administration (may have ‘application for’ before the main word)
- pay fee only
Save the emailed receipt. Include it with the documents you send to the High Court.
